Healing a guest

Smiling at her comment "My lady I will personally protect you." he would say "however if you wish not to go then is there another place where I might get a drink?"

She calls for a guard "get us the finest of the finest drinks and bring them to us." Aphrael smirks then crosses her legs.

Moving to the guard whispering in his ear asking him to bring him a simple bottle of rum. "Lady Aphrael may i ask you a question about the girl's father?"

She nods to him then sends the guard away to get what they wanted. "What is the question my lord?"

"Well" rubbing his chin"How come he tired to attack my kingdom and take the girls?" He looked at her nervously "I was forced to dispose of him, when he attacked."

"he wanted to use them to get at me" she replied. Aphrael did noticed that Al had stopped coming after her a few years back.

Reaching for his bag he pulls out a dagger that had belonged to him setting it on a table. "This was his I took it off him."

"That's his weapon?" she was to scared to even go over to it.

"It was his weapon it is now a trophy." Putting it back into his back seeing her fear of the weapon. "Did he do something mean to you?"

"No but he made a deal with me...." she turns away knowing he saw her fear of that weapon.

Relaxing a bit in his chair he would pull a tooth out of his bag fiddling with it a bit. "My Lady is there a black smith in your kingdom that would forge a weapon for me?"

"We do not have one of late" she replies then smiles since she makes her own weapons but they are of ice and crystal.

Nods in understand standing up as the guard comes back taking the drinks from him pouring one for her and one for himself, "Well here's to the future." Drinking it down before picking up his bag and sword. "I must be traveling on now, I thank you for healing my wounds and thank you for the drink."

"Do you have to go so soon?" she didn't want to see him go just yet. She wanted to know about him and even how the girls are.

Looking back setting his bag and sword down. "I guess I could stay a while longer. It has been many years since I have conversed with such a lovely companion." Taking the same chair he was sitting in across from her looking at her facial expression hoping to read her and figure out what she wanted to know. Realizing that her thoughts where on the twins he reaches into his pocket and pulls out the photo, "It's been 30 years since I left the shadow kingdom but I can not imagine the girls have changed much from this photograph. I can sense that they are all right."

"I do miss them dearly" she sat there listening to him. Her eyes look deep into his as she sat forth to look at the picture. "Mina is my little angel and always will be... Gina on the other hand....."

Smiles big "Yes Gina is a little hellyin at times. When I first met her she attacked me. Mina however is the kindest sweetest most gentlest young woman I have ever met." Smiles up at Aphrael "She looks just like you" Reaching into his bag he pulls out another photograph of them smiling burying Aion under a pile of stuffed animals "This is one of my favorite photos and I want you to have it."

She accepts the picture "they look so happy with you I want you to adopt them." Her heart is beating fast when she asked that of him. She knew they would be happier where they are. Aphrael treasures the picture as she looks at him.

"Well my lady" he looks at her "I already have adopted them both I made it official 5 years after I found them."

"Thank you" she smiles at that news even tho she was a little late asking him to do that. Aphrael sipped her drink finally knowing he will do everything in his power to protect her babies from harm especially little Mina.

Nodding at her as he pours himself another drink. "My Lady" he would say as standing,"I must go and find me a sword smith. I need a new weapon made."

"Becareful the people are frighten of demons" she replies then smiles knowing her babies are safe and sound.

Leaving the queen happy he got to meet the mother of the twin girls he had cared for many years he would leave the place sensing the presence of a powerful person he headed to that person.
